Meet Information

Warm Up Times Visiting team warm-up will begin at 5:30
Meet Start  
Pool This is a 25 meter, 6 lane pool.
Lanes Visiting team will use lanes 2, 4, and 6
Relay Starts Diving is allowed for only those swimmers starting from the blocks. Swimmers at the opposite (shallow) end of the pool must start in the water.
Exhibitions Exhibition heats are allowed. The visiting team will swim exhibition races in their assigned lanes during additional heats for each event. The clerk of course will combine heats where possible. Forest Ridge reserves the right to limit number of exhibition heats if the number should become excessive (this will be decided between the team coaches). If you anticipate an unusually large number of exhibition swims, the visitor coach should contact Forest Ridge coach to discuss prior to the meet.
Awards Awards are given to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishes. Exhibition ribbons are not provided.
Clerk of Course We do provide a clerk of course located in the fenced area for the baby pool. Swimmers must check in here and cannot report directly to blocks as their lane may have been reassigned.
Bullpen The visitor’s bullpen may be located on the opposite side of the meet pool, against the fence, or in the grassy area on the far side of the diving well.
Workers

The visiting team shall provide the following:

  • 2 Stroke & Turn Judges minimum -- 3 desired
  • 3 Timers
  • 1 Place Judge
We also suggest you provide someone for clerk of course as they know your swimmers. We will also gladly accept someone in scoring.
Concession Concession provided by the swim team and is located under the roofed area next to the patio.
Facilities The 2nd pool with the diving well is closed during all swim meets.
